About a month ago I got a message from a friend, and former neighbour, Natalie asking if I ever needed anyone to test shoot with to let her know. I was delighted that she had got in touch as I am always looking for new people to work with and I knew she'd be great on camera!
As it turned out Natalie wasn't a total novice having done a little bit of modelling a few years ago, but having not done anything for a while, she was interested in getting a test session underway and something to start a up-to-date portfolio with. We'd originally planned to have a casusal start and build from there taking a more creative route to finish with - sadly my go-to makeup artist, Sammy, was unavailable so we decided to go with Natalie as she was.
Although slightly nervous, she dove right in and was instantly at home in the studio - we managed to get some great shots and I was really pleased with what we ended up with. Natalie had braught a great selection of clothing to wear - she'd thought about colour and textures and it really made a difference rather than just turning up with whatever was closest to the wardrobe door! I really enjoyed the session and I am getting some ideas together for our next shoot when we can start to get a little more creative.
