Ella, Stu and I first met up in Richmond Park during April to discuss their June Wedding, we’d been put in touch with each other by Kiarna, one of Ella’s closest friends and a former colleague of mine. The meeting in the park was lovely, it gave us chance to meet, discuss their wedding plans and then get a few photographs of them together is a relaxed, beautiful location. Meeting up to talk about the big day ahead of time is something I really enjoy; it gives us all chance to ask questions and for the couple to get used to the way I photograph and ensure that they are comfortable with how I work.
When it came to their wedding they’d chosen one of the most photogenic locations I’ve been invited to shoot at - Caswell House. It s a stunning venue that can either act as an incredible reception venue or, as in Ella and Stu’s case, host a full day including ceremony.
Their whole day was fantastic, having the ceremony outdoors ended up being an excellent decision, as the sun really shone for them; the entire wedding party was in terrific spirits and couldn’t have been more accomodating. As if the wedding wasn’t special enough in itself, Stu and Ella took the opportunity during the speeches to annouce they were expecting their first child, so after this reveal, there was even more reason to celebrate!
I will leave you with some of the highlights from a truly fantastic day…
