When I first heard from Elliot about photographing his wedding day I was pretty excited - he’s a very keen photographer, so contact from him was pretty flattering. We met up for an engagement session over Lickey Hills in Birmingham and hit it off - they were both so relaxed and natural. Despite Elliot and I talking ‘shop’ quite a bit whilst we walked, I felt like an old friend as we chatted away.
Come the wedding day, I’ve never seen a more relaxed bride - I think there was a moment just before Harriet walked into the church where she looked slightly nervous - but she was soon laughing and smiling as she walked down the aisle of St Mary Magdalene church (Tanworth-in-Arden). Harriet and the girls got ready at her parent's house just a 10 minute drive away, and Elliot and the guys stayed over the night before at The Bell pub - right opposite the church - so there were no excuses for being late!
The whole day was fantastic - the weather was stunning, which helped make the reception a great occasion. Once wed, the wedding party traveled the short distance to Wootton Park, which was a beautiful venue and made for a brilliant celebratory venue - the food was superb and we were well looked after. Its a venue I’d certainly recommend any future bride and groom to look at - its so photogenic!
When the evening rolled around the couple had organized a stone-baked pizza oven to be set up and the team running that supplied fresh hand-made pizza to order - let’s just say they were kept busy!!
Here’s a taste of the day - congratulations again to the new Mr & Mrs Thomas!
