Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding - Nikita & Ashley
Sandhole Oak Barn was the setting for this amazing July wedding and this couple really had everything on their special day. The sun was blaring, the setting was perfect and the whole vibe of their day was so relaxed and fun and it shows!
What a day and what a wedding - Nikita and Ash had chosen the beautiful Sandhole Oak Barn near Congleton as the venue for their special day and on arriving to meet them at an open day in January, you could tell this venue had a little bit of everything - great accomodation and a wonderful bridal suite with space to prepare, a bright and spacious barn for the ceremony and wedding breakfast as well as some stunning grounds to create the perfect backdrop.
It wasn’t long before their day arrived and someone had clearly pressed the button marked ‘celebrate’ - because the whole day was filled with laughter and joy. The bridal party enjoyed every moment of the morning and they guys made sure that Ash was able to relax and soak up the occassion. If there were any nerves, they were quickly dispelled during the ‘Flower Man’s’ entrance as one of the best men took centre stage and had the whole room in stitches.
Nikita looked stunning and clearly took Ash’s breath away as she walked up the aisle with her father and despite a quick joke about losing the rings, they went on to have a really incredible ceremony. Then it was time to party!
In the warm sunshine, drinks flowed, games were played and everyone was clearly having a fantastic time - and by the time the wedding breakfast arrived everyone was keen to eat and continue the celebrations. The speeches were fnatastic - Nikita’s father managed to get the full spectrum of reactions, from howling laughter to real emotional moments, as well as giving Ash a good roasting, something that continued with the best men and you could clearly see what a stong bond this groups had for each other.
We took a stroll after the meal and had the bridal party experiment with some smoke grenades which created much amusement and during the evening we escaped to grab some portraits before the sun went down - then it was onto the big party and everyone really let their hair down. I can’t thank the couple enough for giving me the chance to capture their day and I’m delighted to be able to share these images.
